Amazing Aeroplanes!

Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Foundation 2 Year: 2022 - 2023

We have been investigating how toy aeroplanes are made. We talked about the materials they were made from. We explored how they were joined. We discovered some were joined with a slot.  We made our own designs for an aeroplane. We thought about the materials we wanted to use, how we would join the pieces and how to decorate it. We then made our designs and tested them out to see whose would travel the furthest.
