School Uniform
At Kimberworth Community Primary we encourage our children to take pride in everything they do, including their appearance which is why we have a school uniform. We ask parents and carers to support us in implementing this dress code.
Our uniform comprises of a red or navy sweatshirt or cardigan, a white or navy polo shirt and either black or grey trousers or a skirt or pinafore dress. For safety reasons we ask that children wear sensible shoes, not flip flops or shoes with a high heel. Please ensure that all items of clothing, including coats and shoes, are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
If you would like to purchase items of uniform with the school logo on them, there is a selection available to purchase through local suppliers Pinders.
For PE activities we ask that children wear black shorts, a white t-shirt and plimsolls or trainers. For outdoor PE in colder weather, dark tracksuit bottoms or leggings and a sweatshirt are required. If your child has long hair, please ensure that they have a bobble to tie it back.
We would discourage children from wearing jewellery in school to prevent loss, damage or injury. However, if children have pierced ears, we ask that only studs are worn. All jewellery, including stud earrings, must be removed before PE, swimming and any other sports or games activities.
The school has a supply of good quality second-hand school uniforms for parents to access. Please contact Ms Roddis through the school office if you would like some. Parents are invited to donate their child’s uniform when they no longer need it.
